Alan Fletcher is a household name in Australia after a 28-year stint as Dr Karl on the TV series Neighbours and a 15-year residency at the Elephant and Wheelbarrow in St Kilda with his rock band Waiting Room.

Inspired by his heroes such as Jason Isbell, John Prine and Guy Clark, Alan has spent the past 18 months writing and recording ‘THE POINT’ – a brand new album of witty and heartfelt original songs.

Both Alan’s EP ‘DISPATCHES’ and the new album were recorded at End of the Road studio in Melbourne by producers Lachlan Bryan and Damian Cafarella (Lachlan Bryan and the Wildes)

To coincide with the digital release, Alan and band will perform all the tracks from ‘THE POINT’ at George Lane on February 18th in a special matinee timeslot 3pm to 6pm.

Ron S. Peno and Cam Butler play a very special show at George Lane on Saturday night, February 18.

Ron S. Peno needs no introduction. As the singer for the legendary Died Pretty as well as with his band The Superstitions, he has a voice which is instantly recognisable, with an unmatched emotive power. Ron has partnered with Superstitions' guitarist, Cam Butler, to create a vocal and guitar duo like no other.

Playing songs from the three albums by The Superstitions, as well as new material, the duo combine Ron's incredible voice with Cam's masterful rhythmic and melodic guitarscapes to present these songs as semi-improvised explorations; loose and dramatic, always exciting and full of emotion.

Special guest support is Sean Simmons (ex-The Spoils) duo.
