HEAT #3 LINE-UP:
ACADEMY DRIVE: The Academy Drive boys have lived most of their lives amongst the Melbourne music scene. They met studying a degree of music performance at Box Hill institute and have been great mates ever since. Their catchy upbeat original tunes are sure to bring the house down.
FOOL ME TWICE: Fool Me Twice is an indie rock band from Melbourne/Naarm that blend the heavy with the heartfelt. With catchy melodies and genuine lyricism, they create a mess of genres that’ll leave you fooled twice.
FUR BLOSSOM: Fur Blossom are a psychedelic trip back to the 60’s/70’s. Bringing the summer of love energy,
this quartet invites you to buy a ticket, take the ride & let your soul be psychedelicized.
KIDS BREAK GLASS: Bringing you their psychedelic indie rock sound, Kids Break Glass are exploding onto the scene with their newly released EP 'Talk to the Hand'. With enticing, experimental rhythmic beats from drummer Jacob and swirling guitar leads from front man Brendan, the band has a set that is never replicated and always leaves crowds always wanting more.
LUNACY: Lunacy is a Melbourne-based dark-pop and emo-pop power couple. Sallee Chatfield, a former X-Factor Australia runner-up, and Oliver Kindred, an L.A native multi-instrumentalist and songwriting prodigy, make up the duo. They met at work, fell in love, and eventually concluded that their powerful connection could be used to create powerful music. Lunacy's sound is for those who tend to hide in the shadows, with dreamy soundscapes and beat-driven rock elements rooted in the heavier bands they grew up listening to, like Paramore, Evanescence and Linkin Park, and pop musicians like Ava Max, Halsey, and The Weeknd. The only thing that can match Sallee's soulful voice and mesmerising stage presence is Oliver's dynamic composition and avant-garde pop music style. They were able to build their sound, which is edgy and soul-stirring wrapped in glittering pop production, with the support of Ionei Heckenberg, guitarist and lead vocalist of Australian metalcore band Ocean Sleeper.
