A Man Called Son (AMCS) is the ongoing project of Simon Pearlman. AMCS has released three albums, several EPs, and a plethora of additional material. The "fourth-coming" album 'Timebombs in the Sea' is due for release in November 2022. The melancholy, downbeat atmosphere of first single 'What We Had' was later followed by a second, faster yet still downbeat single 'Plateau' in 2021. Both received rave reviews and drew comparisons to fellow natives The Church and The Go-Betweens. Based on these encouraging appraisals, Simon promises even more downbeat and melancholy offerings to come.
