'Beseech Me' is the debut from Melbourne trio CLAMM. The urgency is felt from the first few seconds - a wail of feedback and the line "it's coming for me" over a thrashing riff. CLAMM have been around for just over a year and they've made a massive impact, supporting internationals and forming part of an emerging local scene that includes groups such as Gamjee and Dragoons, and Floodlights. CLAMM's early singles have also made a strong impression, attracting comparisons to Iggy and Black Sabbath with their nervy, heavy, hard rock and garage punk styles. The lyrics are equally powerful, addressing themes of anti-violence, materialism, mental health and the state of modern Australia.
