Neil Morris AKA DRMNGNOW joins Vanessa Morris on Banksia off the back of recently released single Ngarwu - the first DRMNGNOW release in over three years.

Meaning listen in Yorta Yorta language, Neil spoke about the inspirations behind Ngarwu and the importance of deep listening and to honour the power that we can hold when we listen to Ancestral voice.

In reflection of Ngarwu, Neil explains the significance of the release's video which was filmed on Yorta Yorta Woka at a site that represents Indigenous sovereignty, where they have been practicing culture and holding a day of mourning dawn service for the past five years.

Neil also spoke about electronic-based project MINYERRA that pushes the boundaries of analog synthesis and technology.

Ngarwu is the first release from a bigger DRMNGNOW project expected in the foreseeable future
