General Vibes chats to Mobeen Mougadam, a student of Science at the University of Melbourne, an activist, and founding member Sawt al Sudan – a rising collective of Diaspora Sudanese people in Naarm. Mobeen sheds light on the year-long civil war that has ravaged Sudan and is creating one of the largest humanitarian crises today.

Together, the two reflect on the historical civil resistance movements of Sudan, challenging binary thinking around 'good and evil' to offer a more nuanced perspective of conflict and foreign interference, whilst Mobeen shares the beauty of Sudan's music cultures.
