Danielle May Laidley is a former AFL player and coach (who played for West Coast Eagles and North Melbourne from 1987-1997), and was a coach for the Roos from 2003-2009. She joins Sam Elkin (filling in for Daniel), Nat, and Mon to talk about the new documentary, ‘Revealed – Danielle Laidley: Two Tribes’ which just dropped on Stan. The documentary details the painful events that lead to her being outed as transgender by Victoria Police, and follows her journey in gender, football, life, love, and family. She comes onto Breakfasters to tell us all about the experience and the new identity and life she’s finally been able to step into.
