'Motion' is the debut album from Melbourne's Squaring Circles, comprising Brendan Anderson and Julien Huynh, with vocalists Lilibeth Hall and Hayden Somerville. It's an effective title for a record devoted to movement, whether it be the propulsive rhythms or constant flow of ideas. Waves of synthetic and organic sounds glide across genre, creating jazz-infused grooves, motorik rock, abstracted pop and electronic dance styles.
