'DIANA' is the debut album from June Jones, a talented writer and performer of songs that span the spectrum of human emotion. Indeed June Jones is well known for her work with Two Steps on the Water, a band who coined and perfected 'emotion punk' across multiple folk and rock-inflected releases. On 'DIANA', June Jones builds resonant ballads and anthemic pop gems from synths, vocals, drum machines, organ, bass and piano. Her lyrics explores themes of mental health, heartbreak, and the struggle between hopelessness and hope. The record was recorded over a year with good friend and producer Geoffrey O'Connor, another acclaimed Melbourne artist with a passionate curiousity about music history and the future possibilities of pop.
