Grand Salvo is the project of Melbourne artist Paddy Mann, and Slay Me In My Sleep demonstrates the full scope of his singular skill as a singer and songwriter. Written as a complete, compelling narrative, Paddy's literary lyrics are presented amidst ornate orchestration, joyous instrumental flourishes. Recorded and co-produced in Berlin by composer Nils Frahm, the album also features vocal contributions from Laura Jean, Heather Woods Broderick, and Zoe Randell of Luluc.
