We love our Sunday evening jazz sessions. The jazz is on early – great for those who want an early night or a great start to a jazz odyssey in Brunswick.

We're delighted to have Xin Trio join us for a monthly Sunday evening residency till the end of the year.

Xin Trio plays a range of repertoire from the jazz idiom. Hector Harley (Tenor Saxophone), Monty Shnier (Bass) and Ollie Cox (Drums) have been playing together in a wide variety of musical contexts for years, this ensemble explores spontaneity and ensemble interactivity.

Xin focuses primarily on rhythmically adventurous interpretations of repertoire from the American songbook. Specifically admiring the way ensembles such as the Walter Smith trio, Will Vinson trio and Paul Motian ‘On Broadway’ Ensembles collaboratively develop melodic material.
