Pru Illingworth, Nanon Karnchanachari & Will Brewster bring you their newly formed three piece low-fi soul and hip hop, jazz, maybe even rock band. Who knows what they are, but they’re cool and they’re ready to fire you up deep inside with some melodic cooking tunes over a glass wine. See how that rhymed? Be there ready for more, keen to see y’all there!
With very special guests:
Isobel Caldwell is a Hong Kong born, Melbourne based musician, dabbling in projects spanning jazz, soul/funk, and folk. Performing solo, her primary focus is that of the folk persuasion, lyric heavy songs and a cathartically honest way with words that is hard to box in. You may have seen her performing around town with The Mamas and China Beach. May also have been seen drowning herself in pineapple juice, but don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it.
Inspired by UK post-dubstep, glitch and breakbeat, Sault combines intricate microbeats with minimalist songwriting to create warm linear works.
Going to be a cracking event with some diverse and exceptional musicians!
