Loud ‘N’ Local – Bringing you the best of Melbourne’s live music scene throughout August 2021.

At MEMO we believe you have to roll with the punches, duck and weave, and at all costs keep the music flowing. So, when we found out a number of our August shows featuring NSW artists could not go ahead due to the recent COVID-19 strife in the Emerald City, we took the opportunity to celebrate the best of Melbourne’s live music scene in our Loud ‘N’ Local line-up. We are pleased to announce that Melbourne’s King of the Saxophone, Wilbur Wilde is taking part in the celebrations this August.

MEMO is excited to present saxophonist and singer Wilbur Wilde, as he celebrates forty-nine years of Musicianing as one of the greats of the Australian Jazz scene.

Coming to the MEMO Music Hall, Wilbur is particularly enthused at performing live in this fantastic sounding room and he will be surrounded by some of the finest cats in the country.

Joining him will be Eugene Ball (Trumpet) Mike Jordan (Drums and Cymbals), Phillip Rex (Bass) and Mark Fitzgibbon (Piano).
