We’re welcoming Waxflower (QLD) to the new Cherry stage for a special Valentines Day night performance come Friday, February 14th! The pop-punk four piece group out of Brisbane are tearing into the next decade with the new emotive single ‘Together’. On the back of standout debut single ‘Cut Your Teeth’ and the critically acclaimed follow up ‘Back To Back’ (produced by Stevie Knight of Yours Truly, Stand Atlantic, Between You & Me fame), the rockers spent the best part of 2019 touring with the likes of Sly Withers, Between You & Me, & The Dead Love, The Maine & Stand Atlantic. Also helping to send off last year were the announcement of signing with Australian booking agency Select Music and supporting iconic US giants Simple Plan

Guided by the contagious melodies of Kisschasy, the soaring soundscapes of Jimmy Eat World and the sincerity of Slowly Slowly, Waxflower endeavors to bring a genuine and unique perspective on alternative rock. This Melbourne show is not to be missed!

And when you’ve paid entry to a show at Cherry, be our guest to party ’til close (Thursday that’s ’til late, Friday and Saturday right through ’til 7AM!) for no extra charge. The new Cherry is located at 68 Little Collins Street. It might be the best rock n roll bar in town.
