Naarm/Melbourne country & western darlings, The Smith & Western Jury celebrate the release of their new single, ‘Sweet Love’ with a FREE SHOW at one of their favourite dives, The Gem Bar in Collingwood.

Since the release of their debut ‘Trouble’ in late 2021 followed up with a packed maiden hometown show, The Smith & Western Jury is a name that has been on the lips of many Australian country and pop music tastemakers and fans alike.

In 2022, the band travelled to Tamworth on the back of a second single, ‘Knockin’ on Your Door’ which saw them receive rave reviews from festival crowds as well as high rotation on ABC Country.

Now, after only a small handful of live appearances, the band release ‘Sweet Love’. Their most delicate and heart-swelling recorded work to date, ‘Sweet Love’ is a ballad for lovers that showcases The Smith & Western Jury at their most romantic and dreamy, and places the voice and lyricism of front-woman, Samantha Lombardi on grand display.

To break the champagne bottle on a song so dear to the band, The Smith & Western Jury will play only their second Melbourne show and perform a set filled with future classics, featuring all the songs you know the words to as well as plenty of others you can sweat it out on the dance floor to.

The band will team up with local starlet Queenie who will grace the evening with a warm-up set to kick off the evening in immaculate style and then keep the party going forever with the DJ set of your dreams following the Smith & Western Jury’s celebratory show.
