This homegrown Aussie band is on the warpath to rise up from the underbelly of Melbourne’s music realm. Wasteman wears their heart on their sleeve, offering up catharsis through music. Drawing influence from artists like The Smith Street Band, their original compositions tackle a myriad of themes ranging from heartfelt lyrics on mental health and hedonism, to freaky-deaky boardgames! Together, the crew are “a four-piece outfit tailored from … indie-pop, punk rock, and a sprinkle of [jazz]”.

WITH SPECIAL GUESTS:

FIVEFOURS

After taking a short hiatus to collaborate with bands Jarrow, Tamara & the Dreams, and Rhysics, fivefours are back with a six-piece live band, mixing elements of jazz, neo soul, and RnB. The experimental pop bedroom project from Melbourne musicians, Pete Stathopoulos and Michael Fotopoulos, incorporates live strings, horns, retro synth sounds, and crunchy drums.

BIG FAT ELEPHANT

The latest thing from local drummer and secret multi-instrumentalist, Alexander. Fronted by three like-minded musos, Big Fat Elephant is a mix of pretty chords, underground attitudes, and off-cuff musical influences. From art rock hyper-alternatives, to experimental and metal leanings – Big Fat Elephant brings this beast alive!
