Vento-pipa is a new Brazilian Jazz project based in Melbourne. Formed by the Brazilian musos Alcides Neto (Tide) on Guitar and Vocals, Ettore Sanfelice (Zan) on Electric Bass, Igor Dallegrave on Drums and Percussion, and Australian Will Larsen on Saxophone. The band's repertoire goes beyond the "Bossa Nova" to play the roots of popular Brazilian styles, which are mostly from Northeastern Brazil, including Baião, Côco, Samba do Recôncavo, Chula, Samba, Ciranda, Afoxé, Maracatú and Bossa Nova as well
