Lachlan Mitchell, who includes Laneous, Vulture St Tape Gang, Harry James Angus and Jazz Party amongst his musical repertoire, directs this rotating roster of artists live using only a whiteboard and marker, resulting in a reflexive, responsive reimagining of what live music is.

The residency kicks off on April 7, ‘exotica style’, with Don Stewart on the vibraphone, Kade Brown on keys, Tamara Murphy on double bass and Nick Martyn and Dom Hede on percussion. DJ Peteza will be the special guest.

Week two, April 14, welcomes the ‘ghoul boiz’, featuring Jack Richardson on guitar, Joel Trigg on keys, Angus Radley on bass and Alon Ilsar on drums, alongside DJ Lori on the decks.

For week three, April 21, you can expect to see Mina Yu on keys, Sorcha Albuquerque on guitar, Dan Rock playing bass and Maria Moles on drums. John Bailey will be DJing this one too.

On April 28, the residency will come to a close, and will see Simon Mavin and Brad Bellard play keys, Paul Bender play bass while Nick Martyn jumps on the tubs. On DJ duties is the beloved Sophie McAlister.
