California on My Mind is the debut single from Victorian based, travelling singer-songwriter Tom Mac. The track takes the listener through a nostalgic sonic journey. In a showcase of Tom's unique storytelling ability, the song takes its listeners on a roadtrip of contemplation, immersing you in the struggles of taking a troubled partner overseas to pursue his dream. But alas, he inevitably realises that it would likely never work out.

In a production style reminiscent of timeless West Coast American movies, "California on My Mind'' grabs an emotion we can’t quite put a finger on.
