Meghalaya is a north-eastern state in India, home of the matrilineal Khasi community. It's also the title for Tiana Khasi's debut EP, a Noisy Ritual staple filled with soul, jazz, hip hop and r&b. These songs shine with love of family and heritage, and burn with intergalactic heartbreak. Geographical and spiritual. Luminous and numinous. In the past 12 months, Tiana has supported the likes of Masego, Fatima, Mndsgn and 30/70, and played one of our favourite sets in the Triple R performance space. Prepare to be lifted.
