The start of 2018 saw Melbourne metalcore outfit Thornhill release their EP Butterfly upon the world; not just another release for the band, but an allegory of what was to follow. The five piece began to break free of their cocoon. That evolution saw them spend the year touring alongside bands such as In Hearts Wake, Make Them Suffer, and Polaris; as well as having one of the most talked about sets from this year’s Unify Gathering. Now the story continues as the band spread their wings further proudly announcing their first Australian headline tour which is one you won't want to miss out on, and taking the up and coming Diamond Construct along for the ride.

Much like Thornhill, Diamond Construct have outgrown their original surroundings, pushing out of the town of Taree and onto the national stage. 2018 saw Diamond Construct sign to Greyscale Records and release their riff-laiden single Submerged, before jumping on the road with label mates Alpha Wolf and Justice For The Damned to show Australia what they can do.

Now that both bands have cut their teeth and developed sounds and styles truly their own, the future is theirs, and these shows will prove why Thornhill and Diamond Construct are the two Australian bands that the world needs to keep their eye on.
