This Friday October 4th The Tarantino’s will be appearing live on the Yah Yah’s bandstand to perform two special sets! Don’t miss the group who bring those incredible and versatile soundtracks from Quentin Tarantino’s filmography live to the stage, this show being a special warm up performance prior to supporting the legendary The 5,6,7,8’s (Japan).

If you haven’t caught this Melbourne treasure, the four piece play the best known (and some lesser known) tunes from the films gifted to us by an artist who continues to pay homage to the great film works that came before him, yet with an incredibly distinct flair to call his own! The carefully crafted soundtracks have always been such a big part of the tapestry of Tarantino’s body of work, one that has seen QT shock audiences, resuscitate acting careers and present a dedicated and unwavering reverence to culturally significant music and cinema of yesteryear. From the traditional grindhouse type theatre experience to the extinct, yet gorgeous Ultra Panavision, Quentin has always refused to be shackled by the digital age.

Spending an evening with The Tarantino’s is a must for fans of this bands namesake, expect sharp costumes and an attitude to match, audio samples from the films cleverly woven into the show, and the kind of raucous energy across the various musical genres that gripped you when watching such classics as Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Dusk till Dawn, Kill Bill, Death Proof and everything else from the Tarantino universe!
