MEN IMITATING MACHINES (AUS) take live drums, bass and guitar and turn them on their ear. Jarman Donohue (10100010010110101) and Matty O’Brien (01001101001000011101011) play 100% live electronic sounds built with the foundations of bass heavy beats, huge riffs and infectious electro vibes. The boys use a MIDI bass, MIDI guitar and MIDI drums hooked up to a computer to shape a sound totally on the fly with live visuals. NO CHEATING! This coupled with a gobsmacking light show by Tommy Gunn, wild stage antics, crowd heckling and a dislike of shoes makes them a thing of robotic beauty!

They go together like cheese, wine and Barry White. THE SUBSTANCE are a group of like minded musicians who have come together to pay 100% LIVE drum n bass, jungle and bass music. Consisting of Kieran Moran on electronic drums, Jezz Collard on bass and Kaossilator, garnished with the delectable Hurricane Sparkle on keys, synth and flute and served up with the smooth drop of vocals from Dayelle. Recreating some of Dayelle’s original electronic productions from around the world as well as a full platter of bass music originals with jazzy dub undertones, they are sure to please any palate.

SKY EATER is the sound born of two multi-instrumental warriors - Chelsea Skyeater with her musical artillery (Keys, Uke, Sax, Vocals, Clarinet, Melodica) and a loop station, and General TK Bassdread on the Bass, Guitar and Riddims. Together they bring you all that is Mermaid Trip-Hop Dub.

This well travelled pair of highly trained musicians have played music right across the globe with a range of artists at many popular festivals, including: Glastonbury (UK), Rainbow Serpent, Woodford, Island Vibe, Earth Frequency, Kuranda Roots, Bushweek (AU), Luminate (NZ) and Wallaby Creek.

After returning from a 6 month tour around Australia Sky Eater have been collaborating on a fresh repertoire, drawing from UK born TKBassDread’s experience in dub, trip hop and drum and bass to further enrich the serene songs and soundscape that Chelsea creates.
