The Slingers will be appearing live on the Yah Yah’s bandstand Friday October 18th for the first club show since the release of “The Saddest Man in Melbourne”, an evening that for ticket holders also includes the choice to stick around for no extra charge to boogie to a 2AM performance from China Beach and a DJ set from Sex on Toast!

The Slingers are a rock&roll quintet that have been pretty busy of late, breaking the shackles of the pub-rock label bestowed on them by drip feeding an evolution across their recordings that emphasis a love of Dylan-esque, folk tinged country with a nod to the six string twang that our sunburnt country is known for… Certainly an emerging local act that is proudly the alternative side the Australiana rock of yesteryear.

Again, you can stick around after the show with no extra charge as we present China Beach on stage for our 2AM performance along with Sex on Toast, who’ll be spinnin’ tunes as we host their afterparty.
