7-piece heavy groove combo The Seven Ups are taking it back to their old spiritual home, with a summer matinee show on the Evelyn rooftop.

Blending infuences from 1970s Nigerian Afrobeat with the deepest of street Funk, The Seven Ups are the original instrumental party band out of the northern suburbs of Melbourne

Chester Brix is a three piece indie–alternative reggae rock band from Australia comprised of Jayden Reid (Vocals & Guitar), Davy Simony (Bass) and Danny Finkelstein (Drums) who grew up together in Cairns, and moved to Melbourne a number of years ago to pursue their solo careers in music.

After a rehearsal in preparation for a studio recording of Jayden’s next solo project, the synergy of the band truly ignited. They continued experimenting, writing, and everything else naturally fell into place. They released their first EP as Chester Brix in August 2017. They have finished recording their second EP, and released their first track “Talk” in February, generating over 4,000 streams in one month with no publicity
