We basically decided to step back during 2019. We’ve had a few months off as we took holidays with our families and such, but we’ll be heading into 2020 bigger, badder and uglier than ever with a bunch of new tunes, a new album and our new drummer; our long-time fill-in, and good mate Mick Evans.

You may have already seen Mick gigging with us around the traps. He brings a ton of enthusiasm and punch to the new material and a fresh outlook to our back catalogue. We will also be working with Ed Bates on pedal steel (when available and until he’s sick of the sight of us) and Anthony Taylor on guitar and vocals (in between his own successful music commitments and until he’s sick of the sight of us too). J

The last time we did a gig with all five onstage it sounded fatter than a butchers dog.

Now speaking of Christmas earlier, we’re excited to announce a great double header with our mates Rattlincane on Saturday 7 December. We’ll be seeing in the festive season at the Alphington Bowls Club to celebrate Christmas and the fact it’s been one year since we kicked off the Country Comes to Town concept in Melbourne.
