Having performed all over Australia since 2005, this multi-award winning band from Melbourne have made friends around the country and overseas with their great set of original tunes best be described as a cocktail of country, blues, honky-tonk and everything in between. With influences going back to Hank Williams, to contemporaries including Justin Townes Earle, The Prairie Oysters songs are all about life and observations over many years on a road well-travelled. The Prairie Oysters will be performing as a trio at the Artists’ Bar on Sunday 27 March from 4.30pm featuring Tony Bonnici (Vocals, Bass), Dave Miles (Vocals, Guitars) and Mick Evans (Drums).
