Paul McIver Quartet performs original material from McIver’s My Lover’s Dream album and traditional Gypsy Swing repertoire. McIver (Bois et Charbon) is joined by Kristian Brown (South of Samois) on Guitar, the classically trained Niki LoBartolo on Violin and Enzo Ruberto (Le Mauvaise Reputation) on Double Bass. Inspired by contemporary Gypsy Swing maestros, such as Fapy Lafertin and Tchavollo Schmitt, as well as the legendary Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, McIver’s music is fiery, lyrical and poetic. Allow yourself to be transported to the campfires of the French countryside by LoBartolo’s swirling, melodic violin lines and the invigorating Gypsy Swing rhythm section. As suited to dancing as it is for contemplation, the Paul McIver Quartet plays a timeless genre with a fresh twist.

Since bonding over music from the 80's and 90's in high school, Supahoney have released 6 singles, 1 EP and have their debut album “Every Cell in Your Body” which is set for release at the tail end of 2021. Their previous single 'Timothy' was a standout track for the band, reaching 10k streams without playlisting and getting airtime on Triple J, FBi, and Henry Rollins Show on KCRW. The music video for 'Timothy' was also the featured ‘WILD ONE’ on ABC's Rage.
