Four Lions (solo)

Shann Lions is the frontman for Bendigo-based five-piece Four Lions, who ply their trade in a potent mix of Americana that fuses roots, rock and alt-country. Think Wilco, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen. The band was formed in late 2014 by Lions, initially as a solo vehicle. Three albums followed in quick succession - Charing Cross (2015), Vahland (2016), and Golden Triangle (2017), all released independently, as the band line-up was consolidated. Hard Days, which came out last year, was named Herald Sun's Album of the Week. After an extensive national touring stint last year, Four Lions are heading back into the studio in May to lay down tracks for their fifth album, due out later this year.
