With the imminent release of the third and final piece of their EP trilogy looming, The Hum Drums will bring their explosive blend of psychedelia, blues and punk infused live-show onto the Bar Open stage on Saturday, May 11th. With villainous sonics and words spat in lyrical hysteria, the duo set the stage for what could be mistaken for a scene in a Scorsese flick while delivering performances unparalleled by many other two-piece acts.
Vol. III takes it's listeners into the psyche of killers, street-dwelling zealots and decrepit corridors of punk parties through a barrage of fuzz, drums and wailing vocals in the duo's most incendiary offering yet.
Joining them will be an all-star assemblage including garage-pop outfit Hannah Kate, the apocalyptic Dark Temple and psychedelic-dreamers Dead Eyes with accompanying live visuals flooding the visual spectrum.
This is a night not be slept on.
