The Hornets feature some of the country’s well known and respected blues and roots musicians. They have released six CDs , to rave reviews and have gained a regular following of devoted fans as a result of many live performances. Consequently, The Age named The Hornets “The best blues band in Melbourne”, and the Herald Sun said the band “demanded attention”.
Singer song-writer Craig Horne together with ARIA Hall of Fame guitarist Jeff Burstin from Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons, the Black Sorrows and Vika and Linda are joined on keyboards by Bruce Haymes ( Paul Kelly, Renee Geyer, Archie Roach, Bachelors of Prague) Yuri Pavlinov (Bamboos,Renee Geyer) bass and Chris Tabone (Badloves) drums.
