The Golden Rail are very pleased and proud to launch their second album at The Workers Club, Fitzroy on Saturday afternoon, February 2nd. Following on from their debut 'Electric Trails From Nowhere' (released in late 2017), the second Golden Rail album has been pieced together over the 2018 winter with producer Nick Batterham at his studio in Pascoe Vale South. The new album is a more dense affair although still with the core two guitars, bass and drums lineup of Ian Freeman (The Palisades, Header), Jeff Baker (Rainyard, DM3), Dave Chadwick (Rainyard, Header) and Saki Garth (Lot 56). In addition to his production skills, Nick has brought added vocals, keyboards and strings and helped arrange brass flourishes. Old Perth pals The Favourite Game join us for a rare outing since their E.P. Launch at The Workers a little while back. Young tearaways Plastic Crowns will open the bill with their compelling three piece rock/pop clout. The Golden Rail will also be heading to Perth and Sydney this February for local launches. Get down early to enjoy everything this line-up has to offer. Doors open at 1pm, Plastic Crowns at 1.30pm, Favourite Game at 2.45pm and The Golden Rail at 4pm.
