After a long break, the time has come to get back on stage with a bunch of new tunes.
The Gems play guitar driven pop rock music with boy/girl harmonies and they're the friendly kind of people who would give you a bowl of soup with no attitude to sell.

In 2010 they played their final show after 5 years of immense activity on the Melbourne circuit. Happy life events and some challenging out of no-where surprises forced the band out of the scene for several years. Now they're back with more experiences, fresh eyes and insights and even more colourful melodies to share. Songs include commentary on current modern world views, the human condition and what must prevail.

Beloved troubadour Skyscraper Stan brings his band to the Workers for the Melbourne launch of their latest single “Tarcutta Shade”, wrapping up a national run with a home town show. Pulled from the band’s upcoming sophomore LP, Golden Boy, Tarcutta Shade is a sprawling exploration of life in the slow lane. Coming from the studio and a string of gigs through VIC, NSW, SA and Tasmania the Commission Flats are stage hardened and geared for a trademark high-energy live show. High octane party starters Hot Sludge Fundae are opening the night with their mishmash punk, funk, rock ’n’ roll sounds.
