‘Sociable’ is a selection of dark and sultry songs from queer RnB newcomer, THE GAZE. 

The five-track release is a self reflective work on relationships, hookup culture and mistakes melding pop production with RnB elements into a deeply unique sound.  Over the past year he’s been teasing local audiences with the progress of the EP on the stages of Honcho Disko, Midsumma Carnival and Gaytimes Festival complimented by dark and sexy music videos for singes ‘Karaoke’ and ‘Selfish Love’.

Late 2018 saw Hideous Sun Demon making the move interstate to Melbourne bringing along their unique brand of energetic post-punk. During their time in Perth the band released & toured 3 albums whilst playing numerous festivals & international supports, but decided it was time for a change. Moving to Australia's music capital brings the 3 piece closer to new audiences as well as their Label Hell Beach records plus their new bookers ‘123 Agency’ who they excited to begin working with.

Using momentum from last year's album & coinciding tour, the band have proven their strengths through a series of local shows whilst also working on new material. Hitting the ground running they recorded a 4 song EP with their new drummer in January, set for release as a 7" in July. Expect their 6th Australian tour in support of the EP which grows from previous work via more direct lyricism, synthesizer work & a matured melodic approach to songwriting.
