On 15th February we’ll be presenting The Cool Calm live on the Cherry Bar stage for the launch of their new single.
This quartet are part of the current wave of neo-soul artists who are creating a contemporary blend of heavy hip hop grooves, soulful vocals and fuzzed out guitar sounds. Having been developing their sound on the back of relentless touring along the NSW coastline from Manly to Byron Bay, whilst supporting the likes of more established artists such as Dan Sultan, the band have caught peoples attention with the likes of singles such as “Hand” and the follow up “Moving Forward”. Deservedly, The Cool Calm have impressed punters at the likes of Woodford Folk Festival, Red Deer Music and Arts Festival and Queenscliff Music Festival bringing their rowdy reggae party to those wanting a boogie!
