After a brief period where we were missing some key faces, we are hitting Open Studio again for a preview gig before headlining the 2019 Castlemaine Jazz Festival.Playing a mix of original music and songs from their favourite artists, the Bridge melds classic, contemporary and new jazz styles through fresh arrangements and infectious vocal harmonies.

The Slipdixies are a six-piece band that formed mid-2015. We are completely acoustic and devoted to bringing 1920's Dixieland music to a new generation. Our repertoire ranges from hot driving rhythms to silky smooth ballads. We play old favorites as well as lesser-known forgotten treasures of the bygone era.

Melbourne’s own ‘Johnny Can’t Dance’ Cajun Band are one of Australia’s leading Cajun/Creole music ensembles and are dedicated practitioners of the tradition dance and social music of Rural Southwest Louisiana. Johnny Can’t Dance will perform two feature sets on the night featuring Cajun French vocal, Cajun accordion, fiddle’s, guitar, drums & percussion.
