Tender Collection is proud to present the release of 'KAURI ISLAND', the new record by OV PAIN.

OV PAIN (Naarm / Aotearoa) is the duo of Renee Barrance and Tim Player.

KAURI ISLAND, their seventh release, is a limited edition of 50 12" vinyl. It will be available for preorder in early March, via the Tender Collection Bandcamp.

The album is the product of an abundance of iso-time in Aotearoa, in the sacred native rainforest of the Waitakere Ranges, and their reoccurring desire to challenge their aesthetic selves. The album is solidified around a live-hardware palette with a distinctively minimalist production style. In the face of the dark march of our Anthropocene, Ov Pain gifts a micro-environment in which some of the animism long at play in the world might come into focus.

Supported by:
--Noah Renolds--
Noah Renolds produces body music and ambiance. He has been a multi-instrumentalist in various punk, post-punk, and industrial projects such as Rule of Thirds, Grane & Second Sight. Noah’s productions lean towards an experimentation with off-kilter rhythms & throbbing low frequencies, with dark-electronics as the recognisable through-line. His current focus leans towards the limitations of harmonic counterpoint and complexity using “traditional” electronic hardware.

--Mount Trout--
Their first show since 2019. The trio attempt to play country music but are described as no wave folk & free noise downers.

Tickets are available at the door for $15. Strictly CASH ONLY.
