Tarab is a new band made up of 6 Arab Australian artists playing classical Arabic music. The aim of Tarab is to build bridges if understanding between the Arab world and the Melbourne community through music, especially after the negative stereotypes often portrayed in the media.

Tarab is made up of experienced musicians from Syria, Armenia, Palestine and Lebanon who now call Melbourne their home.
