Omniversal Hum, Every Person and Liquid Architecture present: Still House Plants (UK)

Based in London, Still House Plants are making dynamic, angular and exploratory music around the Cafe Oto and adjacent scenes. As Wire Magazine’s cover/feature artist in April 2024, the band continues to garner the attention of modern music enthusiasts. The trio use a bare bones set up of guitar, drums and vocals. They create fractious and sharp music with a melting pop heart. Bridging elements of sampling, slow core, and repetition the trio have developed a sound that constantly breaks apart and fuses together again. Perhaps comparable in spirit to Mars/DNA, Still House Plants are tactile music makers that dissolve their influences to form an unusually addictive modern sound.
