Hey, so it’s been announced that the last day of trade for Cherry Bar down AC/DC Lane is Sunday the 28th of July... All the red tape issues that stalled everything (even though we’d said goodbye to the dank with a farewell party!) has been sorted out and we’ll have more news in the coming weeks. Meantime, we won’t have another farewell party but we’re gonna make the most of the last month by booking great bands like Squid Nebula!

Squid Nebula sure did impress us across their last Soul night residency at Cherry with their paella of soul, reggae, pop and jazz. The five piece are a Melbourne band to watch with a terrific live show and a fantastic self-titled debut EP, one that received airplay across Triple J, RRR, PBS and a ‘Song Of The Week’ gong on SYN FM..
