Melbourne’s explosive 9-piece street-funk group Copperhead Brass Band are releasing their first single from their upcoming debut album and are throwing a launch party at Bar Open to celebrate!

Emblematic of the intense, high-energy dance sound the band have been crafting over the last few years, “Inertia” is New Orleans-inspired funk at its meanest, mixing together loud, punchy horns with deep grooves that only the more traditional NOLA rhythm section can bring. The band have already made a statement on the Melbourne music scene, having audiences grooving at local festivals such as Falls Festival and Folk, Rhythm & Life, and this show will be nothing short of an unrestrained demonstration of the eclectic sound they play.
