Melbourne’s much-loved purveyors of good times, Slum Sociable, are thrilled to announce that the Slum Sociable 1st Annual Christmas Special will take place at The Corner on Thursday 13 December.

Set to become one of the most anticipated shows on the calendar, the Slum Sociable 1st Annual Christmas Special boasts an enviable line-up featuring a host of very special home town guests – the always-mesmerising Two People and buzzing new artist Ro – alongside Slum Sociable themselves. The night of festive cheer will be complete with a very special guest DJ all the way from the North Pole and candy canes up for grabs on arrival.

This will be Slum’s first local appearance since their heaving mid-year Night Cat show which sold out weeks in advance. The show will see them play a swag of exciting new material alongside older favourites and earlier 2018 singles including ‘Do Something About It’ and ‘Can’t Figure It Out. Both of the latter tracks have had a huge response from fans and picked up numerous playlists across Spotify and Apple in Australia, the US and Asia nearing 2.5 million combined streams. The band’s red-hot cover of Mark Ronson’s ‘Somebody To Love Me’ also just popped up on triple J’s celebrated Like a Version Vol 14 album released last week. Fans should keep their ears open for an addictive new Slum single to drop in the coming weeks.
