Naarm/Melbourne post-punk cult favourites Shepparton Airplane return to the stage to celebrate their acclaimed third album 'Sharks' on Saturday July 30 at The Curtin, joined by two of their faves HEARTS AND ROCKETS and ROLLINGSHITSHOW.
'Sharks' is an album filled with unpredictable twists and genre-spanning soundscapes that signals a sonic expansion for the band, yet still captures the frenetic blend of jagged melody and pithy punk rock discourse found on previous releases. Released at the beginning of 2020's covid lockdowns, the album struck a chord with fans new and old, selling out its first pressing in no time.
After several abandoned attempts, the band is bursting with excitement to finally perform the album in its entirety in front of a hometown crowd.
