Shayari is a Tel-Aviv based duo comprised of Shay Perry (Ashqelon) and Ari Jacob (Melbourne). The word 'Shayari' is not only the combination of their names, but also the Sanskrit word for 'poetry'. The sounds of piano, guitar, violin and bansoori flute intertwine with their unique voices to soak the audience with songs about sincerity, about relationships, about the wisdom of nature and the power of faith. During their Australian tour they will be playing concerts in Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Byron Bay, and running workshops for teenagers in yoga, meditation and poetry writing.

Loz combines a love for creative expression and connection. She constantly strives to learn, understand and create a wide-variety of music. She finds herself rising to new creative challenges every day. Performing as a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist in a number of Melbourne bands (Heads Down Thumbs Up, Belly Savalas, Anna Symrk, Tilley), she enjoys effortlessly jumping from one style to the next. Be it straight ahead jazz, earthy folk or free electronic improvisation, Loz maintains an honest, considered and heartfelt approach to her music.

Marigolden is the solo project of Melbourne based musician, Mel O’Neill. Using jazz and rnb influences to meet her folk roots, Marigolden creates a sound that is her own. The poetry of her lyrics echoes spoken word and her melodies combine quiet self-reflection with a passionate urgency. It’s a project to explore honesty... the ugly and beautiful truth. It’s a contribution to the wealth of women standing up for what they believe, and saying things that the world needs to hear.
