SANDY HSU - A Melbourne-based singer-songwriter and multidisciplinary artist, Sany Hsu creates a lyrical world that is articulate, brutally honest, and almost intrusive to listen to. A collection of vivid story telling, her music is saturated with earnest nostalgia, raw sentiments and self-awareness. She is drawn to song-writing through it’s ability to capture fleeting moments in life and immortalise them forever. These personal insights, woven within expansive ambient landscapes and pop melodies have the ability to sound like a dream yet feel like a harsh awakening.

SOFT POWDER - Initially serving as a means of escapism, Soft Powder is the solo project of Andy Szetho. Conceived within the confines of his Melbourne bedroom, Soft Powder’s blend of 80s inspired dream pop finds refuge in a place of melancholy and wonder, whilst centering around themes of identity and belonging, and the influence that growing up Asian in Australia has had on him.

OBELIA WAXWING - Formed in the summer of 2019, up-and-coming Melbourne electronic duo Obelia Waxwing offer a distinctive pairing of the ethereal vocal harmonies and ominous soundscapes of producer and vocalist Rebecca Williams with the gritty yet lush beats of producer Dermot Seller (Hollywood Real Thoughts). Submerging listeners deep into an ocean of fragmented machinery, celestial synths and impending subs, Obelia Waxwing draw influence from the trip hop great’s of the 1990’s (Portishead, Massive Attack, Bjork) all the way to the post-club electronic pioneers of the 2010’s (Arca, Andy Stott, Lapalux).
