Recently returned from her sold-out national tour of motherland South Africa, Ruby Gill is returning to the Workers Club stage to launch upcoming single “Your Mum” - a song about exactly that, and one expected to leave some exceptionally large potholes in both the industry and the kitchen. Outside the studio, her sometimes scary and always silencing stage presence has been appearing on line-ups with Lime Cordiale, Ben Ottewell (Gomez), Keegan Joyce, Jeremy Loops, Shortstraw and more, with festivals like Oppikoppi, Happy Wanderer and Kennedys Creek tacked to her 2018 name. She’s about to embark on a run of summer shows and sweaty crowds across Australia, from the Workers Club to the sunshine coast.

Come for Ruby's piercing lyrics, beyond-raw rapport, grumpy guitar, concerning classical piano prowess, cooked band boyfriends, and brilliant gems Zoe Fox, David Western and Callum Padgham (Party Music for Party People) who will also be filling the Fitzroy establishment with good times and better rhymes. See ya there.
