Early ’22, Cal Walker and Iain Wilson of Go Go Sapien decided to form a 2 piece jam band to amuse themselves and were immediately asked to play a gig at the tote with The Blown Cones and couldn’t say no. Recruiting Go Go Sapien helmsman Will Hindmarsh to play Cal's enormous Yamaha DC 25 organ their lineup was established. Playing a mix of originals and garage rock classics they soon realised they could adapt The Royal Pendletons ‘ theme song, Royal Pendleton Man to suit Cal's long time dream band name, The Rockin’ Pelmets!
