Yeo

Malaysian-Australian musician and producer Yeo continually explores the intersections of R&B, pop and electronic music.

Yeo’s expansive body of work extends over a decade of releases, spanning many relatable themes—the complexities of human relationships, the impact of racial injustice, and the nature of conflict.

2021 sees Yeo releasing a string of singles lifted from his forthcoming body of work, TIRED, NO MORE.

Stella Farnan

Stella Farnan couples raw authenticity with rare songwriting savvy as she scrutinises sentimentality and apathy with a dew-drop fresh voice. Her songs deliver a soul-bearing honesty through catchy melodies that vibrate with edge and heart.

Stella’s 2019 singles ‘Love Spill’ and ‘Act Like a Party’ garnered national radio play and saw Stella listed in The AU Review’s 2020 artists to watch. Stella was also given the Darebin Songwriters Award for ‘Act Like a Party’.

Yi-Lynn

Melbourne musician Yi-Lynn makes music about love, gore and the impending apocalypse.

She launched her independently release debut LP "Spit into somebody's mouth" to a sold-out crowd at Some Velvet Morning in May 2019.

Singles "Collapse" and "The Search Continues" have been played on triple j, featured on triple j podcasts, 3RRR, and 3CR. "The Butcher's Wife" is the winner of the 2019 triple j Unearthed/NIDA music video competition

Yi-Lynn’s music has been described as "unbelievably captivating" and praised for its "superb lyrical content".

Vertex

I want my brown childhood fantasies to be your reality”. Mufeez, AKA Vertex, is heavily driven by this statement as he pours his heart over eclectic instrumentals varying in emotions. He shares his lived experiences as a brown man living in the West, as he reflects feelings of vulnerability, deep affection, discontentment and triumph.

Being part of the diaspora, his music is crafted using various traditional instruments mixed with Western structures and sounds to create eccentric fusions of r&b, hip hop, electronic and pop music that perfectly represent his brown, third cultural identity. And he also likes cats.
