Regardless of whether you’re already familiar with the unhinged post-hardcore antics of Plovers, the band would like to extend a formal invitation to you to witness the public debut of their youngest offspring. Conceived almost entirely by the once-in-a-lifetime marriage of hard lockdown and seasonal depression, their new material takes aim at white nationalism, political tantrums, and corporate greed with a spring in its step and a buzzer hidden in a handshake.

Equal parts melodic, abrasive, and manic, Plovers make immediate music for long-term memory. Putting the black hole of 2020 aside, they spent most of the previous year honing their explosive live performances alongside bands like Gang of Four (UK), Shihad (NZ), Screaming Females (USA), Private Function, Pagan, and Bare Bones.

Alongside their newborns, the band will also be accompanied in a Covid-safe fashion by several of their older, less attractive children. Call up your mum and bring the whole family.
