Capturing the essence of the moment by making a connection with instruments, environment, body and soul: The Tangled Orbits are a group of adventurers, traveling together into the undiscovered depths of the moment filled with groove and harmonic energy.

The funky jazz fusion experiment, led by trumpet player Gabe Smale, is delivering their very own improvisational style of performance, gearing up with a slightly different lineup every time.

Like musical astronauts orbiting Naarm’s most hidden jazz bars, live music venues and festivals, the Tangled Orbits are delivering a unique and unusual performance every time by embracing the unique character of every musician.
